The Iranian writer, actor and director Bahram Moradi has lived in Berlin since 1994, as he was not allowed to continue his work in Iran due to his critical stance. To date, he has published 5 books in Persian and has received several awards for his work.
He will be accompanied by the composer and tar virtuoso Elshan Ghasimi, who is one of the few masters of classical Persian music in the world.

Jens Peter Maintz and Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt may wield weighty 'weapons' and a virtuoso bow in the bowing battle, but they practise working together rather than against each other. The duo presents a highly entertaining and at the same time artistically demanding program, an "artistic all-round pleasure" (Rhein-Neckar Zeitung), which includes original compositions as well as their own arrangements of works by Niccolò Paganini, Joseph Haydn and Jacques Offenbach, among others.

⁉️ A silent film comedy by King Vidor, USA 1928 with accompaniment by Richard Siedhoff (piano)

According to film historian Kevin Brownlow, King Vidor made the "most honest film about Hollywood" with "Show People", a fast-paced media-critical comedy about the rise and fall, stardom and foul play, comedy and drama production, foreground and background. In short, about the light and dark sides of Hollywood's dream factory at the end of the silent film era.
This rarely screened classic is once again set to music live on the grand piano by renowned silent film musician Richard Siedhoff.

Wolfgang Maria Bauer is an actor, author and director. He has worked at theaters in Vienna, Munich and Berlin. For five years he was active as the television commissioner Siska for ZDF. In his atmospheric and exciting novel "Kaltblut", he tells the story of an archaic village and its inhabitants. An outstanding literary listening pleasure full of power and laconic beauty.
The reading will be accompanied by music from Julian Schwarz on the accordion.

⁉️ Concert by Dante Montoya (flute) and Maximilian Mangold (guitar)

Maximilian Mangold is considered "one of the most artistically interesting German guitarists at the moment" (Fono Forum). The multiple prizewinner of national and international competitions has found a duo partner of equal standing in the Mexican flutist and teacher Dante Montoya, who travels the world both as a soloist in orchestras and as a chamber musician. Both play works by Astor Piazzolla, Claude Debussy and Isaac Albeniz, among others, and thus span a wide range from classical music to Argentinian tango.
