Pure girl power! Corsets are consigned to the back of the wardrobe, skirts become shorter (just above the knee - a real scandal!) and hair is cheekily cut into a bob. The "flappers" were born - independent, self-confident women who didn't let anyone tell them what to do or not to do. Sequin dresses, long pearl necklaces, headbands and lots of make-up are an absolute must. And the men? They wear suits with broad shoulders and pants that are sometimes a little too wide - the forerunner of the oversized look?

Jazz, baby! Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Bessie Smith and Josephine Baker are the absolute superstars. Charleston is danced until dawn in the dance halls, the music is wild, improvised and the atmosphere is simply electrifying. If you like it a little quieter, you can listen to the sounds of operettas and pop songs. But honestly: jazz simply has the most irresistible groove!

A story about wealth, excess, unrequited love and the search for the American dream - a reflection of the Roaring Twenties. The main thing is that you have something exciting to tell the next time you meet up with your friends for a chat!
